Meet Your Guide

My name is Chandler Stevens. I’m a follower of Jesus, husband and step-father, business owner and doctoral candidate in clinical psychology. Just a few short years ago I was homeless, heartbroken, and suicidal, but now I am blessed with a new life in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m a psychocultural practitioner exploring the embodied, relational, and imaginal aspects of faith with a special emphasis on the unconscious dynamics of groups and their conscious development. My work and research are based on the notion that we cannot repent what we’ve repressed, giving us a moral imperative to bring light to the darkest corners of our hearts, souls, and minds.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m skeptical of secular psychology and meditations. How is this different?

I appreciate your skepticism. Even after earning a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and going through years of psychoanalysis and body/mind practices I found myself on the verge of suicide, so I’m very clear on the limits of those approaches. This is a Christ-centered approach, submitting what works from those other theories to the authority of the Most High God. It’s based on the idea that we can most effectively solve our problems when we’re in contact with the reality of here-and-now, and there’s nothing more real than God’s grace.

What can I use this for?

You could apply this in many ways. It works as a way to get rid of distractions in your personal prayer practice. It’s also effective for bringing more focus and flow to your work as well as becoming more present and peaceful with your loved ones.

How long does it take?

The guided audio practice is only X minutes long, and you’ll begin to reap the rewards in the first couple of minutes. When you get the hang of it and familiarize yourself with the steps, you’ll be able to give yourself a rapid reminder in a matter of moments anytime you’d like to feel more calm and centered.
